You'll notice that none of the 54 countries in Africa* have been colored in on my map. It remains one of the continents that I have not yet visited. I've relied on information from my friends and trusted travelers to share their experiences with Africa.

*This is the number recognized by the U.N. as well as the African Union and includes all recognized territories and states. I know that many disputes about boundaries, countries, and recognition exist.
